About Us
We’re in the former Big Lots building at 1st and Broadway in The Baker Neighborhood.
Punch Bowl – Social Food & Drink is a bowling alley, bar and modern diner concept. We have 81 parking spaces. Punch Bowl Social (PBS) will feature 8 bowling lanes, ping pong tables, 3 bars and multiple felt tables for marbles (yes, we're bringing marbles back). "Rock Paper Scissors" instructions available at the front desk...
Social Food & Drink is the modern diner component of PBS serving breakfast daily from 7am — 3pm. Lunch and dinner served from 11am – midnight. The modern description speaks to the freshness and hand-crafted nature of our culinary offerings. (No frozen hash-browns or overly processed food in this diner.) Social Food & Drink will feel like a standalone concept within PBS. The menu will be the only item telling you you’re in a diner.
We will feature a craft cocktail mixology program and craft beers on tap.
PBS is a socially responsible enterprise with community and thoughtful business efforts. We’ll compost waste, buy as much product locally as possible, grow fresh produce on our rooftop and put bicycle racks inside and outside of our building. All sodas and beers will be served on tap. Our charitable efforts will address hunger issues in Colorado.
Punch Bowl Social's design theme is Eclectic Industrial Victorian. Layers is our design keystone — layers of time and materials, heavy tractions and reaction, upgrades and band-aids; layers of generational craftsmanship and economic currents. Windows are being put in along Broadway, 1st Ave and on the rooftop. No lighting will be needed during the daytime.
We’ll build with as many recycled materials as possible because it makes good sense and to create a feel of permanence. The original plaster walls are being recaptured and we’re looking for an old barn to reuse its wood. Spartan military lighting partnering with recycled Victorian era light fixtures all co-exist within this design that celebrates 100 years of decades simultaneously.
